United States (c1970) An affectionate ring by Eric De Kolb. A 14K yellow gold 1/2" wide band carved with the phrase " By God Alone We Two are One". Size 5 3/4. De Kolb an aristocrat and renaissance man, worked as a painter, sculpture, package designer, commercial artist, fashion designer and jeweler. His collection of Ancient Jewelry created such an interest in the material that the Metropolitan Museum asked De Kolb to create a line of wearable gold that they could sell in their gift store. This ring is so late 60's or early 70's. The handmade piece a little brutalist, a little folk singer and a lot a love. Great for a wedding band. Peace and Love.
