A handsome piece of artists' jewelry by Arman. The disected violin a common theme in his artwork was first translated into wearable art in the form of a series of gold brooches in the late 70's. This reacurring form continued to develop as multiples and jewelry throughout his career.
Born in 1928 Nice as Armand Fernandez-Died 2005 in NYC as Pierre Arman.
*Arman attended a school for girls because his best freind was a girl and his father did not want to separate them.
