A "Cube" Broach and earclips suite by British designer John Donald. The 2" domed brooch with striated and polished 18k rich yellow gold cubes , along with a pair of similar 3/4" ear-clips. The "Cube" ,designed in 1963, is a recurring theme for Donald who uses this style in various forms throughout his career. These pieces reflect the light at every turn are flattering and infinitely wearable( the brooch could even be worn as a pendant) .Pleasant and good examples of Donalds illustrious tenure as jeweler. His work is featured in numerous museum and personal collections worldwide. Including Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother. Chic and timeless. Brooch dated 1969, earring dated 1968.
